Sometimes, those extraordinary things come in twos. Meet identical twins Ava and Leah. They evolved from unknown little girls into Instagram sensations in the blink of an eye – and they never saw it coming. Well… Maybe that’s not entirely true.
[post_page_title]Something about them[/post_page_title]
The story of Ava Marie and Leah Rose’s lives made headlines across the web as the twin sisters captivated the world. These days, it seems like there’s a new instant-star born every ten minutes or so – and that’s about the entirety of their shelf life! Identical twins Ava Marie and Leah Rose seem to be different there. They have broken through the barrier of being “internet famous” and are actually using their fame to do some good in the world. So what makes these two girls so special?
Something about them

[post_page_title]Mystery girls[/post_page_title]
While there is definitely a place to discuss the inherent beauty that exists inside all of us, that would be more appropriate if we were to analyze the movie Shallow Hal. And so, while these two young ladies’ personalities do come across in some of their photo shoots, it is the combination of their angelic features and natural talent for posing that allows them to offer classic, timeless images like this one.
Mystery girls

[post_page_title]Objective beauty[/post_page_title]
For this reason, we believe that it would be more appropriate to approach the admiration they have received worldwide from a strictly analytical angle. We’re sorry, but you don’t get called “the most beautiful twins in the world” by accident. We believe that a proper explanation is warranted for this prestigious title – and lucky for you, we have got the goods. Recent studies have aimed to prove that beauty is not always in the “eye of the beholder.” Apparently, some people are just objectively beautiful.
Objective beauty

[post_page_title]Too early?[/post_page_title]
Perhaps this explains the worldwide admiration these young twins are receiving. Maybe they were simply gifted with genes that provided them with facial features that appeal to the masses. But if this is true, there is a certain level of sensitivity we must have. These girls are seven years old, and quite possibly not ready for all of the attention they are receiving. Even adults have a hard time dealing with fame, so we must ask ourselves – should they have been exposed to the spotlight so early?
Too early?

[post_page_title]The very beginning[/post_page_title]
But before we jump to conclusions, as we all love to do, let us try to acquire some more background first. Let us go back to the way, way beginning, right when they were born. In fact, their mother Jaqi discovered the news of her pregnancy two years after her son’s birth. Naturally, the family was ecstatic to add more people to their party. They had no idea that the new arrivals would grow up to be celebrities.
The very beginning

[post_page_title]No way of knowing[/post_page_title]
They obviously could have never predicted the magnitude of fame that their precious children would ultimately accumulate, and why would they even concern themselves with such a thing? When a couple has a child, the last thing they are probably thinking about is how many Instagram followers they will have when they grow up. Imagine if someone were to approach Jaqi and tell her that her newborn twins were going to be famous!
No way of knowing

[post_page_title]Predictions[/post_page_title]
It turns out that this hypothetical scenario wasn’t that far away from what actually happened. Almost immediately after the birth of Ava Marie and Leah Rose, Jaqi got bombarded left and right from people fawning over her children. These people were insistent that her daughters should be models, and they would constantly beg Jaqi to sign them up. These people even offered to do it themselves! But they were babies – and Jaqi wasn’t sure that it was a good idea.
Predictions

[post_page_title]Baby model[/post_page_title]
After much contemplation, Jaqi signed her baby daughters to a modeling agency. The twin girls were a mere six months old at this point! It seemed to Jaqi that everyone that was speaking to her about her daughters’ potential had a point, and she felt that if anyone would sign them up, it would be her. She was very excited about this idea – but it would seem that a new change of heart would emerge very quickly.
Baby model

[post_page_title]Change of heart[/post_page_title]
Everyone comes to a point in life where they must contemplate what the “right” thing to do is. How does one make such a choice? Where do morals live when we are dealing with areas that are not black and white at all, but in fact many shades in between? Jaqi was originally hesitant about signing her daughters up for modeling when they were six months old, and even after she did it – she was still having misgivings about the idea.
Change of heart

[post_page_title]Pull back[/post_page_title]
In the end, she decided to pull Ava Marie and Leah Rose from the modeling agency. In addition to the moral complexities involved in the situation, this was a time in her life where things were a little bit too hectic – and that’s without the additional component of having two daughters who were baby models. It seemed prudent for Jaqi at the time to focus on raising them without so much public exposure.
Pull back

[post_page_title]Raising a baby[/post_page_title]
Yes, having a baby is a lot of hard work, and having two is a lot harder. Just ask anyone you know who had ever had twins (or more). We’re talking about not having just one but two living beings in your care, and you must make game time choices for your children, all of the time, and wonder if what you’re choosing is right. And that’s without mentioning all of the sleepless nights in that first year of your children’s life.
Raising a baby

[post_page_title]Not too hasty[/post_page_title]
Perhaps the decisions we make in life aren’t so sensitive to what something is or is not, or what something should or shouldn’t be. Decisions are all about patience, and sometimes it pays off not to be so hasty. Jaqi decided she wanted her children to be raised without having the public eye upon them – at least for the time being. Once they would get older, they would have the ability to choose for themselves whether or not modeling is something they want to do.
Not too hasty

[post_page_title]Revisiting options[/post_page_title]
Which brings us to the moment that Jaqi finally decided to revisit this idea of Ava Marie and Leah Rose modeling. For Jaqi, the idea of their modeling being their own choice was paramount – she wouldn’t force her daughters to do something unless it was what they really wanted. But as it turns out, they wanted it pretty badly. For the entire duration of her twin daughters’ lives, people would comment on their beauty, and as they grew older, they began to enjoy the spotlight more and more.
Revisiting options

[post_page_title]The proposition[/post_page_title]
It was on their seventh birthday – July 7th, 2017 – that Jaqi finally decided it was time to have a discussion with her daughters. She approached them and brought up the idea of modeling, and asked them if it was a thing they would like to try: “I presented my idea to the girls that, if they were up for it, in addition to their dance classes and swim team practices they had every week, they could give modeling a try.”
The proposition

[post_page_title]Naturals on stage[/post_page_title]
Jaqi felt that she was justified in presenting this idea to them for a number of reasons. Not only were they a bit older now, but they also had flourished into young girls with such vibrant personalities, and she knew the public would absolutely fall in love with them. In addition, they had already demonstrated by this age that they loved being on stage, with the girls already performing dance routines to neighbors, friends, and even strangers.
Naturals on stage

[post_page_title]Why that age?[/post_page_title]
Her reasoning for asking them on their seventh birthday extended beyond the simple fact that they were “old enough.” For then how could she decide that seven is the right age? Why not six? Why not eight? Who’s to say when an individual truly becomes capable of making certain decisions, especially when the nature of every decision is different, and the nature of every person is different? Jaqi Clements, it seems, had her reasons – and they might take you by surprise.
Why that age?

[post_page_title]Lucky seven[/post_page_title]
Her choice for the specific age of seven was because she is a huge believer in signs – or messages on a cosmic level. Jaqi had been told by everyone throughout her life that seven is a lucky number, and this concept stayed with her when wondering when to ask her daughters about modeling. The fact that the twins were born on July 7th (7/7) was no coincidence in her mind. Furthermore, the fact that the twins turned seven, on July 7th, 2017 (7/7/2017) was no coincidence, either.
Lucky seven

[post_page_title]No doubts[/post_page_title]
It’s true that the date did hold a lot of sevens! The overload of this particular number entering the equation was enough for Jaqi to decide the time was right. Add to that the fact that she knew it was a lucky number – and there was no question in her mind. Jaqi later stated that she “just had a feeling that this year was going to be a fun and exciting year for them.”
No doubts

[post_page_title]Take us on[/post_page_title]
It is also interesting to note that when Ava and Leah were born, it was four and a half weeks earlier than intended. Jaqi considers this fact to reflect exactly on how her daughters take on the world in their day to day life. She says that their early arrival at birth – showing up unannounced – reflects perfectly upon their exuberant personalities. She goes on to state that this is their year to shine, and that her daughters are “ready to take on anything.”
Take us on

[post_page_title]No surprises[/post_page_title]
After Jaqi presented the idea of modeling to the twins, they thought it was a great idea. They probably weren’t surprised, either – chances are they had a feeling their mom would bring it up at some point as they grew older, due to all the attention they received growing up, along with other people’s suggestions that they model. As such, they probably thought about it beforehand, and had likely talked about it amongst themselves.
No surprises

[post_page_title]Debut gig[/post_page_title]
After deciding together that it the twins were ready to dip their toes in the modeling world, Jaqi figured she’d get them started with something small. Their first shoot was for a family friend who had recently opened up a boutique shop for children and needed pictures of young models for their merchandise. Eager to take advantage of the opportunity, Jaqi took her Nikon camera and brought the girls over there for a cute photoshoot.
Debut gig

[post_page_title]Stunning photos[/post_page_title]
Naturally, there was a bit of a learning curve during the photoshoot, with the twins entering into a little playful bickering – why is it so hard for children to act like professionals? However, after smoothing things over, the shoot managed to capture a few stunning pictures of the girls. In addition to giving her friend the pictures for the business, the plan was to send out the pictures to modeling agencies and see what happens.
Stunning photos

[post_page_title]The Instagram debut[/post_page_title]
In addition to sending the pictures to modeling agencies, she also posted the photos onto a new Instagram account, under the name of ClementsTwins. She likely thought that it would get some attention, though nothing too crazy. She also may have thought that the process would be gradual, and that the Instagram account’s fanbase would steady grow, while she tried to pique various modeling agencies’ interests in the girls. She would soon be very surprised.
The Instagram debut

[post_page_title]Rocket twins[/post_page_title]
Jaqi Clements had no idea that the Instagram account was about to go viral. Indeed, after posting the pictures she had taken of her twins, it started to garner attention on a grand scale. People all over the world were following the Instagram account. Very soon, Ava and Leah were celebrities on Instagram. And instead of chasing down agencies, Jaqi found herself being chased by them, which immediately reached out to Jaqi and the girls.
Rocket twins

[post_page_title]Agents all around[/post_page_title]
Agents from all over were calling up Jaqi, hoping for a chance to meet the girls. They ended up signing with two separate agents, that both live in California, and they have been super busy since. Having two agents can present conflicts in scheduling, but that is not something the girls need to worry about. The only thing they’re thinking about is how excited they are to be doing something they love doing – and it doesn’t hurt that they’re awesome at it.
Agents all around

[post_page_title]Family girls[/post_page_title]
The Clements sisters’ meteoric rise to fame has been shockingly impressive, and fans from all across the globe can’t wait to see what they might do next. Fans are not only in love with the two girls’ external beauty, but their internal beauty, as reflected by the photos of them having fun with the rest of their family. While looking at pictures of the twins with their family – their mother, father, and brother – we are given a bit more insight as to where their magnetic energy comes from.
Family girls

[post_page_title]The most beautiful[/post_page_title]
Everyone is in love with these girls! Social media followers are especially touched by how much they love each other, as well as their awesome parents. After being called by some “the most beautiful twins in the world,” fans are excited to see them grow up. Audiences are very happy that the girls have a strong family to support them every step of the way, because at the end of the day – everyone needs family.
The most beautiful

[post_page_title]Projections[/post_page_title]
Maybe one day, Ava and Leah will grow up and find that they don’t want to be models. Maybe they’ll decide that it’s not what they want. After all, being in the spotlight can be a very overwhelming thing for anyone – let alone a small child. There is no doubt in our minds that this experience will teach them valuable life lessons, and what they do with those lessons is up to them – all we can do is hope for the best.
Projections

[post_page_title]No answers[/post_page_title]
At the end of the day, we are all just going with the natural flow of life. While at times we may think we know what we’re doing, we tend to return to a humbling realization that we don’t have all of the answers. And for Ava and Marie, they have so much life yet to live – I mean think about it, they haven’t even reached the age of ten! What were you doing when you were seven?
No answers

[post_page_title]Atypical[/post_page_title]
Seriously though… When we reach the age of seven, we are usually walking by toy stores, and begging our moms to buy us that cool new toy that has just arrived. Some of us hang out with our friends after school, spoiling ourselves as we play video games, procrastinating to do homework (because let’s be real, procrastination is a art for the whole family). Whatever it is we are doing at age seven, it most likely isn’t what the Clements twins are doing.
Atypical

[post_page_title]Unnatural[/post_page_title]
Sure, the twins are active in their community, and we know they have after school activities such as swimming and dancing, and that certainly makes them slightly more relatable to the majority of the seven-year-old population. But at the same time, there are certain aspects about being a child icon that are simply not natural for a human. Or to put it more specifically, perhaps it taps in to an innate desire we all have, but shouldn’t necessarily be exploiting. Let us explain further…
Unnatural

[post_page_title]Leggo my ego[/post_page_title]
Let’s be real, we’ve all got egos. All of us have that part of us that feels we are the center of the world, and at the same time, we all have that part that is more objective. It’s the part that knows quite well how small we all are in the grand scheme of things. Beyond these two modes of thinking, we all have a certain balance between these two core frames of mind that knows the true value that they each bring to the table.
Leggo my ego

[post_page_title]Strike that balance[/post_page_title]
It is our goal to understand the meaning of this balance. On one hand, we must give from ourselves to others, and always remember that everything we have is a gift that was given to us. On the other hand, our egos exist for a reason, and perhaps this reason is that sometimes in life, it’s okay to be selfish. The best time to develop this balance is in the very beginning of our lives, when our brains are still developing. Kind of like where the twins are right now.
Strike that balance

[post_page_title]Crucial early years[/post_page_title]
How does this tie in to our girls? Allow us to explain. Regarding the development of our brains, the longer we live, the less vulnerable it is to the influence of outside stimuli. So if a person becomes famous, such as any celebrity you may know – the older they are, they more life they have already lived, the more life experience they have already accumulated without the influence of being under the stifling public eye.
Crucial early years

[post_page_title]Know yourself[/post_page_title]
The reason this is important is because being under the spotlight is like being under a microscope. If you’re a celebrity, every little thing you do is being scrutinized, whether it be from tabloids, newscasters, hecklers on Facebook, or any other media outlet you can possibly think of! When this happens, it’s important for us to be strong, and resilient with who we are as people. We must stay true to our core morals, and rise above the noise when it tries to bring us down.
Know yourself

[post_page_title]Too many expectations[/post_page_title]
Perhaps even more detrimental than scrutiny, is large load of unrealistic expectations that can be thrust upon a public figure when they enter the spotlight. There is usually a reason people become famous – it’s usually because they’ve presented the public with something appealing – in the case of the twins, it is their looks. But now that they are in the spotlight, the public will not be satisfied with a month’s work of pictures. They won’t be satisfied with a year’s worth of pictures.
Too many expectations

[post_page_title]Too young?[/post_page_title]
Ava Marie and Leah Rose are in a position right now where they are expected to provide more and more attractive pictures of themselves to the public. Is that something we should be expecting from two seven-year-old girls? Right now it is still very exciting for them, and perhaps it will help set them up with a job for the rest of their lives, but we can’t help but wonder if they are still too young to be making these choices for themselves?
Too young?

[post_page_title]Kid influencers[/post_page_title]
But the twins seem to still be on the spotlight these days. With 1.4 million followers on their social media account, the twins are considered their own “brand.” Last month, CBS news broadcasted a docu-series, called “Kid Influencers: Few Rules, Big Money,” featuring the twins as well as some other famous children. All kids were called “influencers,” which, according to Jaqui, “is a role model,” something which she tells her kids they are, too. When asked why they think they are influencers, Ava said that she thinks it’s because people their age or younger “look up” to them. Leah said that this makes them “feel good.”
Kid influencers

[post_page_title]Fitting their lifestyle[/post_page_title]
Jaqi and the twins choose brands which, according to Jaqi,”fit their lifestyle.” The brands sponsor photoshoots which are later posted on their account. Each post like this, can reach up to the exorbitant amount of $10K. In the end, most of the clothes they advertize they get to keep, and every day more shipments of clothes from companies find their way to the Clements household. Each item of clothing on their bodies they received from this company or other. Jaqi says that although it’s a full time job, for the twins it’s “not really a job,” because the twins have fun and don’t feel like they’re really working. But is this really true?
Fitting their lifestyle

[post_page_title]Staying little girls[/post_page_title]
At one of the photoshoots, Jaqi’s mother joined the set. Jaqi said her mother was “skeptical” about the twins’ profession. When she spoke, Pat said that this lifestyle “gives them a lot of opportunities,” and she sees how well they interact with other adults at such a young age. She also said that they get to have experiences at this age that she might not have in her entire lifetime. On the other hand, she said she doesn’t know what affect, if any, these experiences will have on the twins as adults. On the verge of tears, she said that “they’re little girls,” and she wanted them to “stay like that.”
Staying little girls

[post_page_title]Keeping up with lessons[/post_page_title]
Although Ava and Leah are rapidly rising to the top of the modeling world, the sisters have had to learn how to balance their new life as modeling superstars as well as their normal lives. That means school is still on the cards. Jaqi says that she tries to organize shoots on the weekends or in the afternoons, so the twins don’t have to miss any school time. If they have no choice but to model during the school day, then there is a teacher on set to continue with Ava and Leah’s lessons.
Keeping up with lessons

[post_page_title]Making it fun[/post_page_title]
When the girls do have to work, Jaqi drives with Ava and Leah for two hours until they arrive in Los Angeles. Thankfully, most of their work is in the city, so it’s almost become a home away from home for the family. However, they don’t always have to work all day. Jaqi says that if they are only shooting for a couple of hours, then she will often organize for them all to go for a fancy lunch or arrange a playdate with some of the twins’ friends in the city.
Making it fun

[post_page_title]Welcoming them in[/post_page_title]
Amazingly, it turns out that Ava and Leah make friends easier than most of us. Jaqi took to her blog, The Clements Twins, where she wrote about how quickly the sisters have welcomed someone into their friendship group. The mom says that Ava and Leah can meet other children for ten minutes before they ask if they can be “their cousin.” Jaqi says this is because a friendship doesn’t express the love they feel toward their new friend. They want them to feel as welcome as possible.
Welcoming them in

[post_page_title]Upping the quality[/post_page_title]
Believe it or not, but when the girls first started to take over social media, Jaqi only had her cell phone to take pictures. Now, after hundreds of modeling shoots, the family has access to plenty of photos to use. Jaqi says that she is the one to decide what photos get used on their profile and which ones don’t quite make the cut. Thankfully, they have all been taken by professional photographers and edited before Jaqi gets to choose the perfect ones to use.
Upping the quality

[post_page_title]Choosing a theme[/post_page_title]
Many social media stars have specific themes they use on their pages or make sure they take the same kind of photos so that all of their uploads look similar. This could be done in all sorts of ways. Some people prefer to use nothing by pastel colors for their uploads. Others want to stick to a white background. To top it off, some people pull the same pose as they upload travel pictures or show off their time around the world. Ava and Leah’s profile is a little different.
Choosing a theme

[post_page_title]Using different people[/post_page_title]
Jaqi spoke to Buzzfeed, where she admitted that she would love to have a theme running throughout Ava and Leah’s profile, but there is no way to make it look as though all the photos have been taken by one person. Jaqi says this is because the twins work with a whole host of photographers who all have their own ways of taking photos and editing the final product. Although Jaqi knows that she could add a filter onto each one to bring them together, looking different is also helpful.
Using different people

[post_page_title]Mixing things up[/post_page_title]
The twins started out as models and dwindling social media stars. Now, the Clements twins are a brand in their own right with thousands of adoring fans all across the world. In fact, the sisters even get stopped in the street for photos with fans. Jaqi says that having so many different pictures and styles on their page helps to show off their versatility. Their mom says that she tries to mix up the posts so that anyone visiting the page can see a variety of looks.
Mixing things up

[post_page_title]Building their profile[/post_page_title]
Sure, showing off your talents in front of the camera is one thing, but there is a good reason that Jaqi wants to show how versatile her daughters can be when it comes to modeling. It’s all to help them land even more jobs in the future. Although Ava and Leah are signed up to two modeling agencies, they also receive a lot of work through social media. That means their profile is like an online portfolio of their work, as well as being a place to build a fanbase.
Building their profile

[post_page_title]Managing the profiles[/post_page_title]
Ava and Leah have over one million followers on social media. However, they rarely get to interact with their fans. Jaqi has taken her new role as momager very seriously and is the one behind their profiles. It seems as though Kris Jenner could have some tough competition. Jaqi says that she occasionally allows the girls to come up with some questions they would like to ask their followers. Otherwise, it’s all up to Jaqi when it comes to what gets posted and asked.
Managing the profiles

[post_page_title]Creating new content[/post_page_title]
To top it off, Ava and Leah’s fans are sometimes greeted to a live video or two. They might not be the ones choosing the photos or talking to their fans, but they do enjoy being in front of the camera in a brand new way. Here, the twins can talk about their day, discuss any upcoming plans, answer questions from fans, or read responses from the questions they have asked the day before. However, these videos are a rarity for now.
Creating new content

[post_page_title]Getting more coverage[/post_page_title]
Jaqi has lots of advice for anyone trying to build their own social media account. This mom believes that it’s all about having content to post. Whether you have a professional photoshoot or take your own pictures, Jaqi says these are the most important things. The more eye-catching and unique the photo, the more likely it is to get shared and reposted and gain more coverage from people around the world. To top it off, Jaqi also thinks that people should post at least once a day and use the right hashtags.
Getting more coverage

[post_page_title]Growing your presence[/post_page_title]
Some more of Jaqi’s tips about how to make an online name for yourself include tagging the right people and making sure you mark your location. For Ava and Leah’s photos, this means tagging makeup artists and photographers to increase their audience. She also believes that you should try to follow everyone you can in the beginning as it increases your chance of getting followed back. Plus, Jaqi now knows the importance of commenting on other posts to help boost exposure.
Growing your presence

[post_page_title]Dealing with the haters[/post_page_title]
While Ava and Leah have gained thousands of followers across the world, they have also had to deal with their own form of backlash. Jaqi admits that she mostly tries to block out their comments and focus on the positives. She also believes that you should try to follow everyone you can in the beginning as it increases your chance of getting followed back. Their mom says they have also had their fair share of people who want to try and take advantage of their fame or make false promises. Jaqi’s advice? To trust your gut instinct. She believes that it’s best to do your research on someone before you agree to work with them or let them guide you just to make sure that you don’t make mistakes or get hurt.
Trust your gut

[post_page_title]Building his following[/post_page_title]
It turns out that it’s not just Ava and Leah who are making waves in the modeling world. Their older brother, Chase, is also signed up to the same modeling agencies as the twins and has his own social media account. This is also run by none other than Jaqi. Although Chase has fewer followers than his sisters, he still has more than 57,000 followers. It seems as though his social media follows more of his private life than his professional one.
Building his following

[post_page_title]Enjoying their time[/post_page_title]
It appears as though the family couldn’t be living a better life if they tried. They get to travel all across the world, where they have met some of the most prominent names in the modeling world, including top photographers and artists. Plus, Jaqi says that she loves to watch her children have fun. They apparently all enjoy their time in front of the camera, as well as all the aspects that come with modeling. Sadly, it’s not all fun, as there are some drawbacks to their lifestyle.
Enjoying their time

[post_page_title]A balancing act[/post_page_title]
Jaqi says that one of the most significant drawbacks to their lifestyle is the expenses that both her and her husband and the children’s father, Kevin, have had to pay for over the years. It turns out that modeling doesn’t come cheap – even when you are only young. Jaqi admits that she is used to people thinking that the family must make a lot of money thanks to their work, but she says that it’s just not the case. In fact, Jaqi thinks they must spend more money on the children than they make in wages.
A balancing act

[post_page_title]Future plans[/post_page_title]
While it might not all be thousands of dollars falling at their feet, Jaqi admits that she wouldn’t change it for the world. She believes that the money they spend out on the modeling is all worth it as long as their children are happy. Jaqi says that they all enjoy heading to Los Angeles every week as they plan a five-hour playlist and get to spend the car ride singing along to their favorite songs. Jaqi also took to her blog, where she spoke about how it is nice to spend time with her daughters while the twins enjoy the quality time they have with each other. However, if any of her children ever decided to stop modeling, Jaqi says she will be there to support their decision.
Quality time

[post_page_title]A new adventure[/post_page_title]
Just when it seemed as though Ava and Leah couldn’t become any more famous, it seems as though Jaqi has another plan up her sleeve. Their mom recently launched a YouTube site for the girls. Jaqi says that both of them always want to spend time in front of the camera and often ask their mom to film clips for them to use. Now, Ava and Leah can make all their dreams come true. In two years, their videos have gained more than 3 million views.
A new adventure

[post_page_title]Devastating news[/post_page_title]
While the Clements may seem like the perfect happy family on the outside, they’ve actually been going through quite a bit of turmoil. In October of 2019, their father Kevin was sadly diagnosed with cancer at the young age of only 39. It was a rare type of cancer, and a pretty aggressive one – something that would require him to undergo at least six months of intense chemotherapy, and maybe even a bone marrow transplant. This news was devastating for the family, but they decided not to give up.
Devastating news

[post_page_title]Turning to their followers[/post_page_title]
Now nine years old, Ava and Leah probably felt powerless in the face of their father’s illness, something that’s devastatingly hard to comprehend at such a young age. But the young girls decided to use their power as internet influencers to do what they could to help, truly proving they’re as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. They turned to their 1.7 million followers, requesting that they take one simple test to see if they’re a possible match to be a donor for their father. And if not for him – perhaps for someone else who’s in a similar situation as their dad.
Turning to their followers

[post_page_title]Finding a match[/post_page_title]
Thanks to this kind act done by Ava and Leah, in addition to the whole family’s efforts, they managed to find a donor that could give a bone marrow donation to their father – in a rather unexpected place. It turned out that the twins’ uncle, who took the test, was a match for Kevin, which meant he was able to donate stem cells to his brother and possibly save his life. This also meant Kevin would actually have his brother’s DNA, his immune system, and his blood type. And while the procedure wasn’t a simple one and required some recovery time for Kevin, he was able to spend his 40th birthday at home with his loved ones.
Finding a match

Every once in a while, the world delivers something extraordinary.
