The novel follows five-year-old Claude who decides, when he grows up, he wants to be a girl. The family finds out and keeps his secret, but some secrets will always get out, and this will change the course of the family\u2019s life. Laurie Frankel took inspiration for the novel from her own experience of having a transgender child. The novel is an interesting and unique take on family life and one that has never been more relevant.<\/p>\n

Ginny Moon – Benjamin Ludwig<\/h2>\n

This is a beautiful story about Ginny Moon, and her journey to find her biological mother. Ginny seems to have the perfect life, she\u2019s popular, has loving adoptive parents, and excels at plenty of things, but she doesn\u2019t quite feel she belongs. This is a riveting and hugely rewarding novel about people and relationships and belonging. Amazon has rated it among the best books of the year, and we think they are bang on!
