When you go to a new and exciting destination, you just have to share it with the world. You constantly have your phone in hand, taking pictures of the sea and the palm trees (and of course, your brightly colored cocktail with an umbrella in it) to then share on social media and reply to everyone\u2019s comments about how incredible your vacation looks. Of course, it is an incredible vacation – but it would be even more incredible if you put your phone down, and disconnected from the outside world. By leaving your phones and other devices in your hotel room, you get the opportunity to properly connect with your beautiful surroundings and the beautiful person in front of you. Go on, try and have a conversation for a change. You might like it.

Get even more personal<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re planning a romantic getaway, you may choose a destination you\u2019ve been to before, or for a special occasion. One of the best ways to make this vacation even more romantic is to get even more personal. This doesn\u2019t need to be a grand gesture (we advise NOT hiring a brass band to serenade you. It\u2019s super awkward) but can be something small. If you\u2019ve been to the destination before, you could print out photos of you on your last trip and decorate your room with a little help from your concierge. If you\u2019re on your honeymoon or celebrating your anniversary, you could even ask the restaurant to play your wedding song or to put by a bottle of their finest champagne to complement the dinner.<\/p>\n

Do something new and exciting<\/h2>\n

Although sitting on the beach and laying in the sun is fun and relaxing for a little while, it can get pretty monotonous and boring if you\u2019re on vacation for a week or two. So, why not do something new and exciting? One of the best ways to get the love hormones flowing is to experience new things together and building memories as a couple (science, bruh). You could go horseback riding on the beach, snorkel in the ocean, or even go quad biking through the desert. Having fun and getting closer to you boo – what could be better?

Let\u2019s be honest; there is really nothing more romantic than watching the sunset together (it\u2019s true, they do it in movies all the time). Take yourself down to the beach with your significant other, whip off your shoes and socks, walk along the beach with the sand in your toes as you listen to the calming waves, and take in the impressive yellow globe in the sky. Hold each other\u2019s hands, cuddle each other to keep each other warm, and even go for a late night swim if you feel like it! You\u2019ll feel calm, collected, and like you\u2019re the only two people in the world. Yep, you can awww if you want.
