One of the primary issues which people do not think about when becoming living organ donors is the fact that they may have a hard time getting health insurance.
When you are missing an organ, or if you have an elective surgery whereby you willingly give one away, your risk of disease or infection or other bodily function problems increases dramatically. So, when debating whether or not to donate an organ, take into consideration that you may lose your health insurance.
