One would think that after giving up a part of your body to save your boss’s life, the least that your boss could do would be to thank you in person (we would personally expect a banquet held in our honor).
However, the only thing that Debbie got from her boss Jackie was an email sent from a work account saying “… thanks more than I can ever say.” Jackie never even walked up to her to thank her to her face.
