While we’re talking about dangerous toys, let’s stop for a moment to talk about lead paint. It’s bad, we’re sure we can all agree. After all, it’s been well-known since medieval times that working with lead can be dangerous due to its toxic nature.
Apparently it was good enough to put in children’s paint sets though, as evidenced by this Dutch Boy lead paint kit for children. It wouldn’t be until 1978 that regulatory bodies finally got their act together and banned the sale of lead paint.
