What that incident is has not been divulged in public, but it’s supposedly information that could be very damaging for Todd in his current legal proceedings. If Lindsie knows something that could essentially convict Todd of all the crimes he is accused of, that does explain why he would take such drastic measures against his daughter.
But, both Todd and Chase are saying Lindsie’s accusations are completely fabricated. They have expressed feeling heartbroken their daughter and sister, whom they love, would do such a thing to her own family.
