In 2000, Garth Brooks officially announced his retirement from both recording and touring. Just like Michael Corleone in The Godfather, however, just when he thought he was out they pulled him back in. Today, Brooks is performing again and has an album out in 2020. In between, he became the best-selling solo artist in history, ahead of Elvis. Fittingly, Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood own several properties. Let’s hone in on their former Malibu pad, though. The single-story, 4,200-square-foot ranch-style property also has four bedrooms and an open chef’s kitchen and basketball court – because why not?
