When Ally Sheedy appeared alongside Sean Penn in the 1983 teen thriller, Bad Boys, people began to take notice of the young actress. But Sheedy skyrocketed to fame in 1985 when she played the role of Allison Reynolds in one of the most iconic teen movies of all time, The Breakfast Club. That same year, Sheedy starred in St. Elmo’s Fire, which also became hugely popular. She was considered one of the top young actresses of the decade, and had a place among the infamous “Brat Pack.”
