Most young people these days might know Sarah Jessica Parker for her work on television, but she started as a teen movie actress in the ‘80s. After a few small roles, her big debut came out out in 1984 with the musical sensation, Footloose, as Rusty. After seeing her dance skills, the following year this led to her being cast in the leading role for the cult hit, Girls Just Want to Have Fun. The ‘80s was a decade that loved their dance movies, and Parker’s place in these two made her a huge hit with the younger crowd.
