After having just a few small roles here and there, Jennifer Jason Leigh was given a part in the hit teen comedy, Fast Times At Ridgemont High. She played the lovely Stacy Hamilton, and it ended up becoming a launching pad for the rest of her career. The movie became a huge hit amongst young audiences, and Leigh’s acting was particularly praised by critics. One critic even wrote of her performance saying, “Don’t they know they have a star on their hands?”
