As she walked down the school corridor, Aeva was called names and picked on. She was called a “monster,” and she was taunted for her height. There was no way for her to hide just how tall she was, and she felt as though she had no other option.
She had to deal with the taunts because there was no other way out. Although she would tower over her classmates in school photos, she felt as though she was small enough to be stepped on when those in her school would belittle her. Her dreams of becoming a model seemed to be slipping away from her.
