The mom soon came up with an idea. Jodie begged the police officer to let her hand herself in the following day once she had made arrangements from someone to care for her baby.
She had plenty of people that would be able to help; Jodie just needed to contact them. Unfortunately, the police officer demanded that Jodie left the house immediately, leaving behind her young newborn. The whole situation was quickly turning into a nightmare.
