Hacking is another thing that’s grossly misrepresented in action films. Usually, in movies, the young and attractive hacker opens their laptop and starts typing code lines in the speed of light, to easily hack anywhere. We’re pretty sure hacking into government databases isn’t that easy.
Other movies make it look incredibly cool, like in the James Bond film, Skyfall, when Q goes about hacking, and the code turns into an underground map of London. We have to admit, though – it does look pretty cool.
