The next time you speak to a military wife, you might want to ask them about the “deployment curse.” Many women stand by the fact that this exists because they have experienced it for themselves.
This curse takes place every time their husband or spouse gets deployed and plays havoc just a few days later. As soon as their significant other leaves their house, something goes wrong. The washer might break, the refrigerator might break, the bed might break, or even the car might break. It almost always happens.
