It’s possible that this youngster has heard his mother say constantly, “Put your dishes in the sink.” On that logic, it’s possible that this kid thought he was actually doing the right thing in this particular scenario.
But what he didn’t account for were two things. One, she probably didn’t want him unloading the cereal in the sink, rather than just the dishes. And two, the bathroom sink is most definitely not what she had in mind.
