Okay, so apparently kids really don’t know what a trash can looks like. It’s one thing for them to leave their garbage in the cupboard where they found it, but there’s no way these ice pops were being stored in the mailbox.
These children were just too lazy to go back indoors and dispose of their trash properly, so they merely used whatever was closest to them. We suppose we should be grateful they didn’t just litter the streets with their garbage. Unless, of course, that wasn’t their mailbox they were using.
