There have been various takes on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ since Lewis Carrol published ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ in 1865. The animated Disney movie released in the ‘50s is definitely one of the best-known, even if it didn’t achieve critical or commercial success during its release.
The movie is actually considered one of Disney’s cult classics due to its later popularity, which is perhaps why some VHS copies could allegedly net you $200. Of course, it might only be worth this much if you have a special edition of the film.
