Jessie Anderson worked as a hair stylist in order to support her family while her husband Pete was in medical school. Pete abused his wife and their two sons but Jessie was too afraid to run away out of fear.
After the outbreak Jessie took her family to the Alexandria Safe-Zone and was assigned to be a pantry worker. Pete still abuses their children daily, which they hide from the rest of the community. She begins a relationship with Rick Grimes but it killed by the walkers.
