On July 4th, he was taken into hospital for emergency treatment. However, he had to move into a hotel bed, as none of the beds in the hospital ward were big enough for him. While being treated, he had to have an emergency blood transfusion, but it became apparent that this wasn’t going to work.
Unfortunately, the disease continued to spread rapidly, causing his temperature to rise uncontrollably. It didn’t look as though the outcome for the young man was going to be a good one.
