The most well-known of all Cyrus’ relationships is the years long one she was in with actor Liam Hemsworth. The two met in 2009, when they were working together on the romantic film ‘The Last Song’. They soon began a relationship – although it was off-and-on it soon became permanent, and for a time it seemed like everything was going well.
In 2012 the couple became engaged – and it seemed as if Cyrus had finally found someone that she was comfortable enough to settle down with.
