Before Cyrus studied music at college, he was actually on a baseball scholarship. Then one day his life was flipped when he had an awakening at a Neil Diamond concert. After seeing the gig go so well, Cyrus realized that singing on the stage was the thing he wanted to do the most and ditched baseball for good.
He quit on his sports scholarship to try and become a success on the music stage instead of the baseball diamond.
