Cyrus’ first big break for some time would come in 2006, with the premiere of ‘Hannah Montana’. The show featured Billy Ray’s daughter Miley in the main role of Miley Stewart, who occupies a double life as both a normal high school student and a world-famous teen pop star.
Billy Ray plays her father, a fictionalized version of himself. The show was a massive success, leading to the release of 4 albums, a concert tour, and a feature film. The show also made Cyrus’ daughter Miley a worldwide star.
