Although music wasn’t doing anything for Billy Ray Cyrus, he was having a little bit more luck in the realm of television. Having had appearances in shows like ‘The Nanny’, ‘The Love Boat’, and ‘Diagnosis Murder’, Cyrus would eventually go on to star as Clint Cassidy in the Pax TV series ‘Doc’.
The show featured Cyrus playing the part of a small-town doctor living in Montana, who takes a new job in New York City. The show ran for 5 seasons between 2001 and 2004. It was notable for its strong Christian undertones, and has seen syndication on Christian networks.
