At this point, there was no going back. Cher was a household name, whether she liked it or not. In late 1977, she and husband Gregg released a duet album titled ‘Two the Hard Way’. Unfortunately, it completely and utterly bombed, becoming both a critical and commercial failure.
This could have been the end of Cher’s career right then and there. It was almost as though she was attempting to follow the formula that worked with Sonny. A husband and wife musical duo always works wonders, right?
