It was John Lennon who popularized the large sunglasses look, but even before he led the trend many hippies were already rocking it. This lovely woman was probably glad she brought her shades and had some dense foliage nearby to relax beside.
When it wasn’t storming, the mid August heat and sunshine was relentless. Many attendees would constantly get caught out and have to alternate between wearing their shades, and cowering under whatever cover they could find.
