It turns out that every part of Woodstock ‘69 was about sharing peace and love with others. The best bit? Even the trash had a message. Thousands of people in one place meant that there was a lot to clear up as soon as everyone had gone home.
Plenty of volunteers stayed behind to help get things organized, but they had a plan. They actually placed the garbage into a giant peace sign that could be seen from the news helicopters covering the story.
