The weather at Woodstock wasn’t on the crowd’s side. The heat was overwhelming for many people. In fact, it was so hot that many people started doing rain dances in the hope that it would bring some relief from the sun.
Amazingly, all of their wishes seemed to pay off as the rain quickly came – and didn’t stop. It wasn’t long before the festival ended up getting flooded. The mud was so bad that many people ditched their shoes and decided to tackle the mess head-on.
