Circa 1999, during the premiere for Notting Hill, the lovely Julia Roberts sent shockwaves throughout Hollywood with her infamous unshaven armpit. As she elegantly wore a crimson sequined short-sleeved dress, the actress raised her hand to wave to her fans revealing that she had not shaved under her arms prior to the event.
Although some people assumed the movie star was trying to make a statement by going au naturel, she later admitted that it really wasn’t on purpose and she just “hadn’t really calculated my sleeve length and the waving.”
