During the 2017 David Lynch Foundation event A Night of Laughter and Song, Kesha pretty much fan-girled out when she saw her idol, Jerry Seinfeld, on the red carpet. When the pop star approached the actor saying, “I love you so much!” and reached out for a hug, Seinfeld – who was in the middle of an interview – just said, “No, thanks.”
The encounter got even more uncomfortable when Kesha asked a second time and third time for a hug, and was painfully rejected each time. After she left, Seinfeld just shrugged and told the reporter, “I don’t know who that was.”
