[post_page_title]Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering[/post_page_title]The National Science Foundation once made calls for better engineering education. Answering the call, the F. W. Olin Foundation worked to create a specialized college.
Today, the Olin College of Engineering focuses on engineering but also has classes on business, creativity, and other relevant skills to the field of engineering. One of the newest institutions of higher learning in the U.S., it wasn’t until 1997 that this Needham, Massachusetts, college with a 12% acceptance rate became reality. Half of each student’s tuition is paid for by the college itself.
