Mike rounds out the group as the assertive, hot-tempered, and romantic friend. He falls hard for Eleven when they stumble upon each other in the woods in season one. The rest of the boys are skeptical when Mike suggests recruiting Eleven to help them find Will. They give in eventually and Mike and Eleven’s bond grows stronger. It’s Mike’s trustworthiness and problem-solving tendencies that lead the boys down a hunt for truth after Will’s disappearance.
