Here’s an awesome picture of the entire ship crew posing in perfect fashion. They are comprised of 1,345 people, and this picture was actually taken right before the US Normandie broke the record for the fastest sail across the Atlantic.
Here’s another fun fact about this top area: Although there was a lot of necessary machinery, it actually was designed to be obscured so that guests wouldn’t have to look at it while on their trip.
