After Tilikum killed Dawn Brancheau, his trainer, SeaWorld advised that they were changing their safety regulations, despite the fact that it was covering up the real issue, which was the whales themselves and their behavior due to boredom. Orca’s are not violent creatures to begin with, but put in a tank with nothing to do, they go stir crazy and begin to act in random ways. Changing safety regulations is not going to help that issue in the least.
