2018 was a pretty good year for the Royal Family. During the year, the Queen welcomed two great-grandchildren, Prince Louis and Lena Tindall, and we saw two royal weddings. The first, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s, captured the world’s attention. The second was more low-key, bringing together Princess Eugenie with Jack Brooksbank. Now, Eugenie isn’t a working royal, meaning she carries out no engagements in support of the Queen. Nevertheless, the $2 million in her wedding’s security costs was paid for by the British public. “Who’s heard of Princess Eugenie anyway?” one indignant politician complained. Ouch.
