Prince William’s nuptials to Kate Middleton introduced us to Kate’s younger sister Pippa. Soon enough, she became an overnight sensation, and kind of stole the show. When it came time for Pippa herself to tie the knot in 2017, she may have been wary of karma. Reportedly, Pippa’s wedding had a strict “no ring, no bring” policy, meaning guests could only bring a plus-one if they were married or engaged to them. Fair enough, except that many speculated it was calculated to prevent Prince Harry from bringing then-girlfriend Meghan Markle – who’d invariably steal Pippa’s thunder.
