In 2016, Rihanna became the center of attention once again when she launched her musical campaign for her eighth album, “Anti.” Inspired by hip-hop soul music, the release moved away from the dance roots that had influenced many of her most successful albums.

The change in pace certainly didn’t impact sales as it went on to shift more than three million copies (although Samsung did buy a million of them to offer as free downloads) and helped Rihanna bag her second number one in the US. Apparently, the singer just can’t release an unsuccessful album.
