Desperate to prevent “Battleship” from tarnishing her reputation, it wasn’t long before Rihanna came back with yet another new album.
Her fourth effort in three years, “Unapologetic” became her first to hit number one in the US and reminded everyone she was still a dominant force in the music scene. The change between this album and “Talk that Talk” wasn’t hugely different, but clearly sticking to the same sound paid off for once. She could rest easy knowing that she still had it, not that she’d ever really lost it.
