Needless to say, the news of Harry and Meghan’s planned departure has not been well received with the Royal Family, not least because they reportedly completely blindsided them with the announcement. Prince Philip in particular, who must have enjoyed his grandson’s tribute to him mere months ago, was said to be especially furious.
When aides informed him of the news, one royal source revealed, the aging prince was “spitting blood.” Philip was mostly said to be upset with the impact this has had on his wife, Queen Elizabeth, and the alleged lack of respect they were showing her.
