[post_page_title]Following in their footsteps[/post_page_title]
When commenting on the situation, royal expert Robert Lundgren likened the five grandchildren to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Both of these women were free to build a life for themselves when they grew up, allowing them to establish their own careers.
Although they still play a role in their family, including attending all the big events, they’re not expected to do everything in the name of the monarchy. Given how well these two have coped with that freedom, we expect King Carl XVI Gustaf’s grandchildren will manage just fine.
