Although the King’s decision has significantly affected their children’s lives, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine aren’t upset about the change. Shortly after the news was announced, the latter revealed that this was something that had been in the works for a while now.
She also confessed that she and her husband were happy about the change because it gave their children “a greater opportunity to shape their own lives as individuals.” Her brother seemed to echo those sentiments by saying that he viewed this shift “as a positive.”
