The King’s decision has significantly changed the futures of the next generation. However, while most of his grandchildren might now be without royal titles, there are a few children who’ve made it out unscathed.
Princess Estelle and Princess Oscar still retain their titles because of their position in the line of succession. As the children of Crown Princess Victoria, the Swedish heir, they’re in direct line to the throne. This essentially means that they have the same position in their family as Prince George and Princess Charlotte do in theirs.
