Some people have actually been concerned about the future of Royal titles, especially since more and more members of the Royal Family are denying them to their children. Princess Anne’s children, although they’re still the Queen’s grandchildren, were not automatically assigned titles, for example.
This is because the way the Royal titles work is through the male bloodline. This means that the Queen’s sons have titles, but only their children will have titles – including the females. However, Princess Anne doesn’t get to pass down a title to her own kids.
