In the movie Limitless, Bradley Cooper plays a character who takes a substance which enables him to unlock the full power of his brain and make him extremely wealthy. In fact, he is able to turn a couple thousand dollars into millions in a couple days.
So, why does he take an $800 loan from a loan shark who then tries to have him eliminated? That entire part of the movie is simply extraneous.
