This visit in 1985 wasn’t the only time that the Princess of Wales set foot in America. Diana actually visited the U.S. semi-regularly, returning every now and again to continue her charity work. She devoted so much of her time to helping those less fortunate, and she never asked for anything in return.
However, she didn’t spend all her time in the States doing charity work. She also made sure to acknowledge her fans and thank them for their support, strengthening the relationship that they shared together.
