The fact that this person knows the correct spelling for “gecko,” as in the little lizard, but not for “get go,” as in the very common phrase, is a little disturbing. But to be completely honest, we don’t even care.
The only thing that’s important about this conversation is that it brought into our lives the notion that they might think a tiny lizard doctor was taking care of some animals, and it was doing a very bad job of it indeed. We won’t lie – if we had a choice between Dr. Gecko and a vet, we’d go with the lizard 100% of the time.
