Lots of people would help their friends out in a time of need. This person’s friend was having a hard time and would borrow money from them because they had a good job.
They would meet their friend in the parking lot of their work to hand over the money, which got a lot of strange looks. Eventually, this person lost their job, ran out of money, and had to crash at their friend’s house, who they had previously been lending money to.
