In the seventh grade, this person gave the Heimlich maneuver to a girl who was choking. It seemed that nobody else knew what to do, so this person sprang into action as they knew the procedure. After saving the girl’s life, they were later accused of assaulting her and suspended for five days.
Her parents even tried to sue the young guy, but thankfully for him, the legal proceedings didn’t go anywhere. Hopefully, it doesn’t make this person think twice about saving someone else in the same situation.
