This person had saved money since they were a kid and kept it in a box under their bed. When they were 18, they worked at a video store and discovered one of their colleagues had stomach cancer, but no insurance.
As the money was just sitting there, the guy offered to lend his coworker $3,000 on the basis that he would pay him back. A few weeks later, the guy with ‘cancer’ is being arrested after he was caught stealing to feed his narcotics addiction. He never had cancer.
