Many people when riding the bus are happy to get up from their seats and offer it to an elderly person. While this person did just that during their bus journey, they didn’t get the reaction they were hoping for.
Instead of being grateful, the elderly person got upset at the thought of being offered someone’s seat. It seemed they took offense to being perceived as weak or frail and needing someone to give up their seat for them.
